A middle-grade contemporary ghost story with Korean folklore--currently on submission.

Twelve-year-old Korean-American Ronnie can't decide if it's worse to lose her BFF to her frenemy, or to be haunted by a gwishin (ghost) while at summer camp. But when she learns that a dokkaebi (goblin) is hunting her, she realizes that things are about to get much worse.

THE LAST RHEE WITCH will appeal to fans of non-western fantasy like Rena Barron’s Maya and the Rising Dark, and the family mystery found in Heather Kassner’s The Forest of Stars.
